Job Type: Contract, National School Year (NSY) Key Responsibilities: Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in the delivery of speech therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade Implement therapy plans and interventions under supervision to support speech and language development Document student progress and maintain appropriate records in accordance with school policies Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure continuity of care and tailored support Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed Desired Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Experience working with school-age children in a K-12 setting preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively Knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapeutic techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Benefits of this contract position include gaining valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic educational environment while contributing directly to student development.
