Job Title: Massage Therapist

Position Overview:
Provides clients with a full range of massage, Body treatments and sales. Will assist in maintaining a safe, clean and well stocked work environment, an adequate inventory of massage supplies and provide exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs massage therapy which include Deep Tissue, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Prenatal and hot Stone
- Perform body treatments which include body wraps and body exfoliation
- Will attend regularly scheduled training, continuing education and spa meetings
- Ensures that each guest experiences the highest standards of hospitality and service during their visit to Sea Spa, e.g. grooming, use of language, greeting guests properly, facility cleanliness, room set up at optimal image and function capacity
- Reads each clients intake form and fills out after treatment (what treatment they received and any enhancements)
- Fills out client product recommendation form
- Conducts massage and body treatment consultations
- Maintains the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner including stocking products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization. Replaces massage linens on tables so that the room ready for the next client
- Assists Spa in activities including staff meetings, promotions, clean-up and housekeeping duties.
- Contributes to self-marketing strategies.
- Assists with folding of all linens used in treatment rooms and locker rooms
- Arrives fifteen (15) minutes prior to scheduled work time and may be required to stay fifteen (15) minutes later beyond work schedule if still with client.
- Conducts massage therapy and body treatments as listed in the Spa brochure and Spa Menu unless otherwise indicated by Spa Manager.
- Maintains and increases knowledge of massage therapy treatments by sharing technique skills with fellow staff during in-house instruction, and education/training classes.
- Presents a professional, well groomed appearance; provided uniforms must be worn at all times in the Spa and must be laundered and pressed.

Qualification Requirements: Must have a genuine willingness to provide uncompromising service to the guests, superior massage knowledge and an ability to handle stress and strong work ethic. Must also present a professional personal appearance according to Cape Resorts standards.
Education/Experience: A current valid NJ State massage license required. Prefer a minimum of 2 years of previous massage therapy experience.
