Summary:
The Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor provides clinical mental
health services as well as team-based care integrating medical and social
aspects into patient care plans.
Responsibilities:
Complete screenings, comprehensive assessments, and evaluations of patients to develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team.
Provides crisis intervention, developing treatments plans and assisting in goal formulation with patients and parents/guardians.
Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling, consultation to parents or guardians, family therapy to enrollees clients, and consultation to other professionals.
Advocates for clients, reporting suspected child abuse, neglect, and dependency to community agencies.
Documents mental health information in medical records according to policies and state guidelines and records findings in a systematic and accurate form in the electronic medical record per guidelines and policies.

Requires Master's degree
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current North Carolina license to practice as a LPC/LCMHC.
Professional Experience Requirements:
Requires two years of experience in a related clinical setting
