Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A part-time Occupational Therapist position is available at an elementary school serving students in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade in Fremont, CA (ZIP Code 94563). This role is contracted for the 2025-2026 school year, running from August 8, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with an expected weekly commitment of 18-20 hours and a caseload of approximately 22 students. The ideal candidate will hold ACOTE credentials in Occupational Therapy and have experience working with young children in a school setting. This opportunity requires onsite presence and offers a chance to support the developmental and functional skills of students within an elementary school environment. Key responsibilities include: Conducting evaluations and assessments of students' occupational therapy needs Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to TK-5 students Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions accordingly Participating in meetings and documentation to ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations Qualifications: ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy credential Experience working with elementary-aged children (TK-5) Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage a caseload of 22 students effectively Commitment to onsite work in Fremont, CA Tentative interview dates are scheduled between July 7 and July 9.
