A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at a K-12 school setting in Sanford, FL. This role is ideal for licensed SLPs seeking to provide comprehensive speech and language services to school-aged children within a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with individual goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions focusing on speech and language objectives
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress regularly and accurately
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and support
- Educate and engage families in the therapeutic process to foster supportive environments
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain it
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Candidates must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology for Florida and possess or be on track to obtain a Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
