School Physical Therapist
Locations: Montpelier VT
Schedule: Part-Time | 2-3 days a week | August- late January
Soliant is conducting interviews for a School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our special education team. In this role, you'll empower students with disabilities to thrive academically and functionally within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and interpret results for IEP development.
Provide direct and indirect therapy services to address fine motor, gross motor, sensory, visual motor, and self-care skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student success.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Consult with staff to implement strategies that enhance student participation in learning and daily school activities.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current and valid state OT license and NBCOT certification .
Familiarity with special education laws (IDEA, Section 504).
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Prior school-based experience preferred.
