Pediatric School Speech Pathology Los Angeles, California

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, starting August 6, 2025, through June 12, 2026, at an elementary school in Los Angeles, CA. This contract role supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade within a caseload model, providing comprehensive speech and language services in a school setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in pediatric populations.
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Utilizing indirect hours efficiently, including documentation and participating in paid team meetings.
• Collaborating with educators and therapists to support student progress.
• Providing services within dedicated therapy spaces.
• Adhering to district protocols and maintaining compliance with state licensure and fingerprinting requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
• Experience in pediatric healthcare and school settings, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience.
• Strong familiarity with caseload management and pediatric speech-language pathology.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

This assignment includes paid administrative time and utilizes a caseload model to manage student needs effectively.
