Pediatric SLP in Portland, OR

Providing speech-language pathology services in an engaging elementary school setting within the Portland, OR area, this contract position offers a full-time workload for the upcoming school year. The role supports bilingual students and requires a dedicated professional skilled in pediatric speech-language therapy.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy within healthcare or educational settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery models
• Recent Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or equivalent experience
• Background working in school-based therapy programs, especially elementary education
• Ability to provide itinerant services and manage paid travel between schools

Location:

• Portland, Oregon metropolitan area with assignments primarily in elementary schools

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality speech-language pathology assessments and interventions to bilingual students
• Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings as required
• Provide services using district-approved IEP systems and participate in available training
• Manage a caseload consistent with school district guidelines, including itinerant service delivery
