Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist Naperville, Illinois

A specialized Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students in an elementary school setting located in Naperville, IL, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role offers 33.75 hours per week, scheduled from 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM, providing direct, onsite intervention for students in grades K-5. The caseload includes students with diverse disabilities such as autism, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and other health impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services tailored to students' needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans
• Monitor and document student progress and maintain compliance with state and school policies
• Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate a variety of disabilities and learning styles
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student educational planning

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement required
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
• Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and evidence-based interventions
