Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Join a dynamic K-12 educational setting as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) serving students throughout the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time, 37.5-hour per week contract position is ideal for an SLP with pediatric experience, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), who is licensed or license-eligible in Maryland. Located in a picturesque waterfront city known for its marinas and boating lifestyle, you will enjoy the opportunity to work close to nature and take occasional weekend trips to Washington, D.C., just under two hours away. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Educate and support students and families to improve communication skills and manage disorders. Maintain precise documentation of evaluations and progress in compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines. Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and participate in team meetings. Qualifications and Experience: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Maryland state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills tailored to pediatric populations. Proficient in diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, electronic health record systems, and able to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
