? Student Population: Primarily 9th Grade, with additional high school coverage as needed
? Setting: Onsite - School-Based Services Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive high school team in Concord, CA for the full 2025-2026 academic year. This is a full-time, onsite position serving primarily 9th-grade students, with a manageable caseload of approximately 35-45 students. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, with a focus on incoming 9th graders Conduct assessments and evaluations for speech and language disorders Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student goals Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech-language goals and services Qualifications: Active California SLP license required ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred Experience working with high school students or adolescents strongly preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team This is a great opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about helping high school students succeed both academically and socially.
