Speech Therapist in Sault Sainte Marie, MI

An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time, onsite services within a K-12 educational setting in Sault Sainte Marie, MI. This full-semester contract position offers a diverse caseload, engaging with students aged 3 to 26 years across both single school and multi-building assignments.

Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students across the specified age range. The role involves collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and delivering therapeutic interventions tailored to each student's needs. Managing a caseload of approximately 45 students, the SLP will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support student progress.

Qualifications and experience:

• Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license (MI SLP License) is required
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience servicing a K-12 student population
• Ability to manage both single school and multi-building caseloads
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
