OT Job Opening - Full-Time - Harvey, IL area

Position Details:

• Start/End Dates: August 2025 June 2026

• Schedule: 32.5 hours per week, Full-Time

• Location: Single-site placement near Harvey, IL

• Setting: Specialized school program for students ages 822

• Caseload: Students with significant cognitive disabilities requiring individualized therapy and support

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEP goals

• Participate in IEP development and interdisciplinary team collaboration

• Support student engagement in academic, functional, and life skills activities

• Contribute to sensory integration plans, fine motor development, and adaptive equipment needs

• Promote independence in classroom, vocational, and community-based activities

• Accessible playground and sensory garden

• Community outings and vocational training opportunities

• Adaptive physical education and supported academic curricula

• Multidisciplinary team including PT, SLP, and behavioral staff

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities is a plus

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
