We are dedicated to supporting the diverse needs of students through comprehensive, evidence-based occupational therapy services. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and help students develop the skills necessary for academic success and daily living.
Position SummaryThe School Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement therapy services for students with disabilities across a variety of school settings. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to promote student independence and participation in the educational environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in compliance with IDEA and North Carolina state regulations
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals and classroom integration
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and compliance requirements
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training
Valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (OT or OTA under supervision)
Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Experience working with school-aged children preferred
Knowledge of IDEA and school-based therapy best practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt services to meet diverse student needs and learning environments
Positions available across multiple school districts throughout North Carolina
