Pediatric School Speech Pathology Mitchell, Indiana

A professional opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Mitchell, IN. This position is a full-time, contract role for the 2025-2026 school year, offering approximately 35-40 hours per week, typically from 7:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 50-60 students spanning grades K through 12. The caseload primarily consists of students with Speech Impairment (SI) and Language Impairment (LI) eligibility, including those in general education and some enrolled in the mild intellectual disabilities self-contained class at the high school level. This is an onsite role requiring direct interaction with students and collaboration with educational staff.

Required qualifications:

• Current Indiana State license for Speech-Language Pathology
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus but this role is onsite-focused
• Ability to manage caseloads and tailor interventions to a diverse student population including special education settings
