A position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an elementary school setting serving students from kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract role spans the new school year with a flexible schedule of three days per week. The position covers two elementary schools with a caseload of approximately 25-30 students.
Responsibilities include conducting student assessments, developing individualized goals, participating in IEP meetings, and delivering direct therapy services. The role demands an itinerant approach, providing support across assigned schools, with paid travel time and potential mileage reimbursement.
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Vermont SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5)
- Strong skills in student assessment, goal development, and therapy implementation
- Ability to manage caseload across multiple schools with flexibility
