Speech Language Pathologist in Speech Pathology Unit at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour Day Shifts.

The practice of speech-language pathology shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, communication, and demonstration of techniques addressing speech language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to meet the needs of patients and their families with supervisory guidance provided as needed. Therapists completing a Clinical Fellowship year will receive supervision in accordance with rules delineated by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree From an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Completion of, or eligibility for, Clinical Fellowship Year.
  • Coursework/Training Speech-Language Pathology Area of Specialization - Completion of competencies for:
    • Therapeutic feedings,
    • Patient transfers, and
    • Assistance with Modified Barium Swallow studies.
  • California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Educated or trained in dysphagia assessment and management.
  • 1 year of Acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience.
