Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, onsite school-based position in Mission Viejo, California . This role will provide temporary coverage for two overlapping maternity leaves , starting August 11th with an anticipated end date in late September or early October (TBD). This is a short-term position with the potential for extension , pending district needs. Position Details: Location: Mission Viejo, CA Start Date: August 11, 2025 End Date: TBD (anticipated late September to early October) Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday Setting: Onsite only - No VOCO/virtual options Caseload: One preschool program One elementary autism program Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct therapy services based on IEP goals Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans Support students in developing fine motor, sensory integration, and functional skills Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families Maintain timely and accurate documentation and reports Requirements: Valid California Occupational Therapy license School-based and/or pediatric experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage specialized caseloads involving students with autism Must be able to work onsite only
