Speech Therapist Assistant in Manchester, CT

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract This position is for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a K-12 school setting in Manchester, CT. The assignment is contracted for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning August 28, 2025, and ending June 16, 2026. Work hours are Monday through Friday, totaling approximately 35 hours per week, with some variability in schedule. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid SLPA certification Experience working with a caseload spanning K-12 students Comfort and adaptability in supporting adult caseloads within the school environment Knowledge of speech-language therapy techniques and interventions suitable for school-age children and adults Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams Location: Manchester, CT (K-12 school environment) Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist Work effectively with a diverse caseload of students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, including some adult learners Assist in assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapy activities tailored to individual student needs Document student progress and maintain confidential records Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication goals Benefits:
