Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized pediatric therapy services within a K-12 elementary school setting. This contract role, based in the Richmond, VA area with assignments extending to Henrico, VA, involves supporting students during the school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, focusing on pediatric caseloads Collaborate with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Utilize virtual therapy experience to conduct remote sessions as needed Maintain accurate documentation and reporting aligned with billing requirements for the client, including compliance with VOCO standards and protocols Support and work alongside Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) where applicable Qualifications: Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC preferred; candidates with School SLP credentials or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience welcome to apply Active state license to practice required Experience in pediatric speech therapy, especially within school settings Virtual therapy proficiency strongly preferred Billing experience with educational or clinical clients is a plus Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply though it is not mandatory Must be available for full-time assignment during the school year This opportunity offers a meaningful chance to impact student communication development while working in a structured educational environment.
