This role will support students across various grade levels under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). Final caseload and site details are being confirmed with the district's new director. : Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Location: San Jose, CA Schedule: Full-Time | 2025-2026 School Year Setting: School-based | Onsite Only Caseload: To be confirmed (K-12 potential) Supervision: OT supervision provided Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct therapy services based on student IEP goals Support development in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence Document student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with OTs, educators, and school staff Travel between sites may be required (pending final caseload details) Qualifications: Valid California COTA license School-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Able to work independently and take initiative Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving school setting
