? Position Overview

• Title : Respiratory Therapist
• Contract Length : 8 weeks
• Facility Base : Primarily Battle Creek , with possible shifts at Grand Rapids based on census/volume

• Shift : 4x12-Hour Nights

• Administer intensive respiratory therapy (invasive and non-invasive)
• Educate patients pre-/post-treatment and at discharge
• Conduct:
  • Ventilator management
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Nebulizer treatments
  • Chest physiotherapy
  • Suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal)
  • Oximetry and capnography monitoring
  • 12-Lead EKG & arrhythmia recognition
  • Pulmonary function testing (eg, NIF, VC)
  • Tracheostomy care (routine, insertion/removal)
  • Arterial punctures and ABG analysis
  • Bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and PleurX drainage (where applicable)
  • Mechanical ventilation setup and operation
  • CPR per BLS & ACLS standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

• Proficient with all standard RT tasks
• Critical care and emergency airway experience preferred
• Familiarity with both hospital and moderate complexity lab environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills
