A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed to support elementary and PreK students in a dynamic school setting located in Fremont, CA. This contract position spans a full school year and offers a part-time schedule of approximately 0.8 FTE, working 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary and PreK students.
- Conduct assessments to identify students individual communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with educational and clinical standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged populations.
- Knowledge of evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions.
- Ability to manage a caseload involving students across PreK and elementary grade levels.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
