Travel Respiratory Therapist - NICU RT

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RRT with Level IV NICU and pediatric critical care skills for a day shift travel assignment.

• Position is in a NICU and pediatric critical care unit
• Cares for neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 6:45 to 19:15
• Requires six weekend shifts per published 6-week schedule block
• Utilizes high frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators
• Experience with pediatric cardiac anomalies is required
• No on-call required
• Locals accepted within a 75-mile radius
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Bi-weekly orientation sessions provided
• Modules assigned during orientation and must be completed annually
• Collaborative team environment with a focus on high acuity neonatal and pediatric respiratory care
• Compliance documents are due by 4 PM EST on the Friday prior to the start date
• A minimum lead time of 3 weeks is required between booking and assignment start for credentialing
• RTO requests must be included with application, limited to 5-7 days off

• Active NC RRT license or Compact license in hand is required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years' experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics along with emergency department experience
• Level IV NICU experience is required
• Experience with high frequency jet and oscillating ventilators is required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year is required for consideration
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions or declinations permitted
