Travel Respiratory Therapist - NICU RT

American Traveler is hiring a Respiratory Therapist - NICU RT with 3+ years of NICU and adult critical care experience and a current CA respiratory license.

• Work in a Level III NICU with care involving both neonatal and adult critical care populations
• Involvement in NICU transport and adult critical care unit
• Day shifts (3x12 hours), 6:30am - 7:00pm
• Assignment includes exposure to HFOV, HFJV, and INO therapy
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Daily duties include managing respiratory care in critical care and NICU environments, including advanced ventilatory support
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Only one holiday off will be approved for time off requests
• Return staff must have been gone at least one year before returning as a traveler
• 50 mile radius rule applies for travel pay eligibility; local candidates accepted at local rates
• Modules are required during orientation and are completed via e-learning

• Current CA respiratory license required if applicable
• NBRC credential required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in neonatal and adult critical care settings
• BLS (AHA) and NRP (AHA) certifications required
• ACLS and PALS (AHA) certifications preferred
• High frequency ventilation experience preferred
• NICU transport experience preferred
