A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a school setting. This contract position is based in Colorado Springs, CO, and offers a full academic school year assignment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy services tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student communication goals
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintaining accurate documentation
- Delivering services via teletherapy when appropriate
Qualified candidates should possess:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs or appropriate state licensure for SLPAs
- Experience in pediatrics and healthcare settings
- Familiarity with school-based speech-language services and teletherapy platforms
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLPs, if applicable
