A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time, contract position during the 2025-2026 school year in Rio Rancho, NM. This role requires an SLP with either a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate, providing onsite speech-language services exclusively to elementary students.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 45 elementary students.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to students unique communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and promote effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute professional expertise to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure or certification appropriate for practice within New Mexico.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or actively completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience providing speech therapy to school-aged children, preferably in elementary settings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educational teams.
- Commitment to working onsite during regular school hours, 37.5 hours per week.
