A full-semester contract opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in Wilmington, NC, serving pediatric populations in an educational setting. This role offers both full-time and part-time positions, working onsite with caseloads typically ranging from 45 to 50 students.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in educational or healthcare settings
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with supervision
- Proficiency in teletherapy and onsite service delivery is a plus
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with school site directors and team members
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in a school environment
- Collaborate with school staff and administration to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in team meetings
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students
- Engage in professional development and maintain licensure requirements
