Clinical Fellow SLP in Salinas, CA

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is sought for an onsite contract role serving K-12 students within a county educational setting in Salinas, CA. This position focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services to mild to moderate student populations, ensuring effective communication development and support.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans targeting mild to moderate communication disorders
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Document student performance and maintain compliance with educational and therapy standards
• Provide direct therapy sessions and monitor student outcomes regularly
• Participate in meetings related to student IEPs and progress reviews

Qualifications:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with mild to moderate speech and language impairments in K-12 settings
• Strong knowledge of federal and state educational regulations
• Ability to work onsite within the county and engage collaboratively with school staff and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
