A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Assistant (SLA) position is available to support elementary students in a PreK through elementary caseload for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract opportunity is based in Calhoun, GA, within an elementary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of PreK through elementary-aged students.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students communication goals.
- Follow the assigned school schedule and comply with all applicable policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Credentialed as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Assistant (SLA).
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare environments preferred.
- Familiarity with caseloads spanning PreK to elementary students.
- Ability to follow established therapy protocols and work effectively within a school schedule.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
