Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, Flexible hours.
Day to Day:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Physical Therapy to lead our pain management outpatient clinic. You will lead and guide Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in their patient care activities. Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify pain sources and functional limitations and create personalized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and patient requirements. You will utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, and other pain management techniques. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies and self-care techniques. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Participate in future interviews for team additions.
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
