Job Description
- Pre-Plans and promotes all activities so students can make choices as to how to use leisure time.
- Meets Respect Challenges for student participation in Community Service.
- Ensures transport of students occurs in timely fashion.
- Ensures events are not canceled because of lack of equipment or supplies.
- Maintains active communication with other community and governmental sources including Fine Arts, Theater, Choral, Drama, Sports, Education and Training, Community Colleges, and volunteer organizations; contacts are reported via weekly report.
- Ensures receipts/unused funds are returned to account fully for amount received.
- Accounts for monetary expenditures by submitting all necessary student excursion sheets, appropriate receipts and unused funds.
- Ensures programs stay within funding limits.
- Replaces property due to use rather than abuse.
- Provides inventories of uniforms and equipment according to procedures and established time frames and reports via weekly report.
Enforces all procedures regarding property/equipment. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Minimum of one to three months related experience and/or training. Some college in related field preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet special and emergency needs of the department.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferably in related field.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid State Driver's License, CDL preferred.
