Regions has multiple weekday and weekend shifts available for a per diem OT! This position would come with one weekend/month requirement with and one holiday/year requirement.
This position will primarily serve adult patients on acute units of our Trauma Level 1 hospital. Training to cover to our 21-bed CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility is also offered. This position provides an opportunity to work with a wide range of diagnoses: stroke, brain injury, spinal cord, orthopedic, intensive medical and cardiac units, and observation units. We provide a thorough on-boarding process to all new hires and mentorship from experienced staff is available. Regions Rehabilitation offers in-services on a wide range of topics that can help grow your clinical experience.
Work Schedule:
One weekend a month and one holiday per year and the opportunity to pick up weekday shifts as able.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed in MN as an Occupational Therapist
- Registration with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist
- Current certification with the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy within 6 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in similar settings/diagnosis.
- Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
