Insight Global is searching for Occupational Therapist candidates across the Baltimore County region. This person will be responsible for screening and assessing students with a variety of physical and developmental problems to determine the need for services and to recommend strategies, adaptations and/or modifications that support the educational program or setting. Also, this person will also determine the need for and recommend appropriate adaptive equipment and participate in determining technology-related needs and providing related staff training. Further, the OT will participate in the development of an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), and the Individualized Education Program (IEP), Service Plans, or a 504 Plan for students. Comfortability with school personnel, parents, and other service providers is especially important to the role.

Must Haves:

Education:

oGraduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy required.

Active licensure

oLicensure from the Maryland Board of Examiners for Occupational Therapy Preferred:

Experience working with children and adolescents

Experience working in school systems, IEP meetings, etc. null
