Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation position requiring 3 years of recent outpatient rehab experience and a current PT license.

• Outpatient rehabilitation setting focused on adult patient population
• Patient caseload includes surgical, total joint, orthopedic, neuro, and vestibular cases
• Typical schedule is five 8-hour day shifts: 9:00am-5:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 10:00am-6:30pm on Tuesday, Thursday
• Uses Cerner and Epic for documentation; experience with these EMRs required
• Locals considered if living within a 60-mile radius
• Responsibilities include patient and family education, development of home exercise programs, and rehab for a variety of adult cases
• Must pass EKG and basic arrhythmia testing per facility requirements
• Former employees must have a 2 year separation before returning as a traveler
• Facility is smoke-free
• Pre-start online modules required and completed via self-submitted Certificates of Completion
• Study guides and support are available for clinical orientation and assessments
• Scrub or dress code requirements may be outlined during orientation

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in outpatient rehab required
• Current Physical Therapy license required (Florida or compact state); license required if applicable
• BLS certification via AHA or ARC required
• Experience with surgical, orthopedic, neuro, and vestibular patients required
• Proficiency with Cerner and Epic EMR systems required
• Must provide proof of vaccination status; declinations not accepted
