Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least one year of experience and current state licensure for a contract-to-hire, day-shift position.

• Work in a physical therapy department within a clinical setting
• Day shift, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• EPIC charting system is used for documentation and familiarity with EPIC is required
• This is a contract-to-hire role with potential for permanent placement
• Responsible for assessing and evaluating patients' functional status, mobility, pain, and related needs
• Develops individualized treatment plans, carries out interventions, and evaluates patient progress
• Must be highly professional and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment
• Regular on-site attendance during scheduled work hours is required
• Drug screening and background check are required, with results due by a firm deadline
• Candidates must report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of job acceptance

• Current/valid state Physical Therapist license is required; license required if applicable
• Minimum of one year recent experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a clinic setting
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school is required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
• Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) credential endorsed by the American Heart Association is preferred
• Experience with ultrasound is preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting is required
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills are needed
• Must provide all current certifications with application and ensure none expire before the start date
