Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a weekday home health assignment, requiring at least 1 year of experience and South Dakota licensure.

• Home health setting covering the Southern Black Hills region including Hot Springs, Custer, Edgemont, Hill City, Hermosa, and surrounding areas
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, DM, cardiac, ortho, neuro, dementia, and general weakness
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with no weekends or call required
• Documentation is completed in EPIC EMR
• No specific equipment skills required
• Responsibilities include home health patient evaluation, treatment planning, and care coordination
• The Home Health team consists of RNs, LPNs, OTs, PTAs, SLPs, aides, MSW, and case managers
• Orientation is approximately 1 week and includes EPIC training, shadowing, and documentation review
• Scrubs of any color or business casual attire are acceptable; denim and sweats are not permitted
• No local travelers accepted; candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment
• Office is closed on 6 major holidays; holiday work is not required
• Free parking is available for staff

• Active SD PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Physical Therapist
• Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy required
• Ability to perform general PT skills including evaluations, intervention planning, medical assessments, and care plan development
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
