SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - DISTRICT WIDE

SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE HIRED ON A YEAR ONLY CONTRACT - CONTRACT RENEWAL FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR WILL BE DONE IN THE SPRING AND CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS BASED ON DEPARTMENT NEEDS AND BOARD OF EDUCATION APPROVAL

• THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A ONE TIME SIGNING BONUS OF $2,500 PAYABLE ON DECEMBER 15, 2025 AND

A RETENTION BONUS OF $2,500 AFTER THREE YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT PAYABLE ON JUNE 15, 2028

New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24th & 25th

District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience up to 20 years

Salary:

The minimum starting pay without ASHA CCC-SLP certification is $69,372/year and the maximum salary is $87,804/year.The minimum starting pay with ASHA CCC-SLP certification is $72,516/year and the maximum salary is $92,100/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).

Qualifications and Expectations:

• MA/MS in communication disorders or speech-langauge pathology from accredited college or university
• Valid Colorado Special Services Provider License endorsed in area of assignment: School Speech-Language Pathologist (0-21)
