Responsibilities

The Lead Therapist possesses the clinical, administrative and compliance knowledge to support the management of the rehab department. They provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders. The Lead Therapist performs responsibilities in accordance with their disciplined Therapy/Hospital Policy, state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy

2. Current state Physical Therapy.

3. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

4. 3 years of clinical experience required.

5. 1 year of previous supervisory/management experience preferred.
