This contract role supports students across various grade levels in speech and language therapy services, contributing to their academic and communication development. Key Responsibilities: Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering individualized therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade Work closely with both child and adult caseload as assigned Implement therapy plans designed by the supervising speech-language pathologist Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes for each student Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals Participate in meetings and training as required to enhance professional skills Qualifications: Current certification or credential as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working in school-based settings preferred Ability to manage diverse caseloads, including adult clients within a K-12 environment Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment Position Details: Location: Willimantic, Connecticut Dates: August 28, 2025 - June 16, 2026 Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 35 hours weekly (hours may vary) Employment Type: Contract for the full school year This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication skills and educational experiences of students.
