Physical Therapy Assistant

We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. This role reports to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager. The PTA will be responsible for providing quality rehabilitative physical therapy under the direction and supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist to patients, involving musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary deficiencies and promoting excellent customer service while adhering to state and federal standards.

  • Accurately, promptly, and thoroughly document patients care observations, interventions, and evaluations.
  • Confer with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding the patients progress and Plan of Care changes.
  • Demonstrates therapy for the nurse, home health aide family member, or other responsible person who may assist the patient with their physical therapy program as directed by the Physical Therapist.
About You:
  • Graduate of accredited two-year Physical Therapy Assistant program or licensed, certified, or registered per applicable State law.
  • In states where there is no licensure, certification, or registration requirement, must be a graduate of an accredited program.
  • Current CPR Certification
  • One year's experience in hospital or home health is preferred.
