This is an Acute Care Resource Pool position. Experience working with this population preferred. New graduates considered.

Responsibilities

Assesses, plans and implements specific physical therapy treatment programs for individual patients in Acute Care Rehab settings across the Legacy system, at multiple sites.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.

Skills:

Able to render patient services and may supervise Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants (LPTAs), Therapy Aides and students.

Excellent organizational skills to facilitate program development.

Demonstrates competency, as appropriate to the ages of patients served, in the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients needs; knowledge of normal growth and development; and an understanding of the range of the treatment needed.

Skilled in home program development and family training

Knowledge in appropriate selection and use of DME (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.)

Computer skills.

Licensure

Licensure/Certification:

Current Physical Therapist license (PT) for both Oregon and Washngton states required. CPR certification.
