Job Title: PRN Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist (Speech Therapist)
Location: Peninsula Region of Virginia (Newport News, Hampton, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Poquoson, and nearby areas)

A respected and growing home health organization in the Peninsula region is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide home-based care to adult and senior patients. This is a high-priority need due to increased patient demand and limited current coverage. The ideal candidate is experienced in home health or highly adaptable, and ready to make an immediate impact on patient care.
ResponsibilitiesConduct in-home evaluations and develop individualized speech therapy care plans
Provide treatment for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals and at-home exercises
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams (nursing, PT, OT, physicians)
Complete timely and accurate documentation
Active Virginia SLP license
CCC-SLP certification from ASHA (preferred but not required)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an SLP (home health experience preferred)
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Flexible PRN schedule (estimated 1020 hours/week, with opportunity for more)
Competitive per-visit or hourly compensation, based on experience
Reimbursement for mileage (if applicable)
Peninsula cities including: Newport News, Hampton, Yorktown, Poquoson, Williamsburg, Grafton, and surrounding areas
