Details:

• Part-time
• Approx 15-20 hours per week
• Schedule varies, but here are the current needs:
• Monday 7a-12:30p, Tuesday 12:30p-6p. Thursday 12:30p-6p, Friday 12:30p-6p

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for transports, lifts, supports, and prepares patients for treatment, and administers some therapeutic treatments under the direction of a Registered Therapist. General housekeeping duties, assists in clerical functions of therapy, especially in terms of statistics, record keeping and filing. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of on-the-job training manual to include competency testing in skills applicable to job responsibilities
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work in stressful situations
• High School or GED Equivalent required within 3 months of hire
• Prefer experience with Windows, but must be able to use computer

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
• Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
• Able to list, carry, push, and pull light to moderately heavy material, supplies or patients (up to or >100 lbs.) for most of the shift with assistance.
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavyweight materials (over 100 lbs.) occasionally with assistance.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some bending and stooping
• Adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule
• Able to work in latex burdened environment
• Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to operate equipment
