Position Summary
To assist the Physical Therapist in administering physical therapy treatments to established standards of physical therapy, physician’s referral, and physical therapy plan of care.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Performs and modifies or updates patient treatment programs with Physical Therapist direction to maximize patient outcomes.
2. Documents information to assure continuity of care and maximize reimbursement.
3. Maintains schedule to attain productivity standards.
4. Maintains familiarity with duties of and provides supervision to PTA students, various levels of support personnel, and volunteers.
