In this role, youll be responsible for verifying prescriptions and equipment settings to ensure safe and compliant therapy preparation. Youll interpret clinical documentation, identify contraindications, and uphold Owens & Minors high standards for patient safety and service quality.
Hours: 8am-5pm
Location: in office-Kansas City, MO
Payrate: 70K 80K

Whats a typical day as a Respiratory Therapist? Youll be:
- Provide and operate PAP and BiPAP-S equipment.
- Inspect and test medical equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Review and maintain detailed records including prescriptions, sleep study data, and equipment checks.
- Enter accurate data into vendor compliance systems.
- Communicate with referring physicians regarding treatment plans and prescriptions.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and company clinical policies.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a CRT or RRT
- Active state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of related experience (preferred, not required).
- At least 1 year of related experience (preferred, not required).
