As a Licensed Occupational Therapist, you will design, implement, and evaluate occupational treatment therapies for residents. You will help residents develop functional skills while strengthening their existing skills. You will also provide treatment for progressive disabilities effecting dining, sensory motor integration, upper extremity function, and positioning. This role requires the ability to develop therapeutic patient relationships and a genuine desire to improve adaptive skills needed for independent functioning at the highest level. In addition, you will attend training to maintain field expertise, p articipate in multidisciplinary meetings, and recommend orthotic devices and adaptive equipment.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Overtime as needed
  • Free parking
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirements:

  • Possession of a license to practice occupational therapy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Occupational Therapy Education and Licensure.

Other Requirements:

  • PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination .
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
    • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
