Immediate Start: Physical Therapist/Full-Time

Assesses andtreats neuromusculoskeletal & cardiorespiratory systems by physicalor mechanical means to maintain or restore function that has beenimpaired by injury or disease, for pain management and forpromotion of mobility and health as prescribed by the referringphysician. Is responsible for developing, implementing andmonitoring the plan of care for the person served. Performs anddirects administration of all physical therapy modalities &collaborates throughout the process with the patient and theirfamily and the interdisciplinary team. Requirements MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors orAssociates Degree in Physical Therapy. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure & BLS certificationrequired. SKILLS: Demonstrates accountability and skills inassessment/evaluation, decision-making and time management. Shouldhave strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication andorganizational skills. EXPERIENCE: None required. NATURE OFSUPERVISION: Responsible to: Director/Manager RehabilitationServices ENVIRONMENT: - Bloodborne pathogen: B Works in a clean,well lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. Potential exposureto communicable diseases, combative patients and hazardouschemicals. Subject to stressful professional relationships.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Good physical condition. Prolonged,extensive, or considerable standing and walking. Lifts, positions,and transfers patients and manipulates occupied equipment. Liftssupplies or equipment up to 50 lbs. Potential strains resultingfrom lifting heavy patients and equipment.
