Pediatric School Speech Therapist Katy, Texas

A healthcare opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) to provide high-quality services in a pediatric and school setting located in Katy, Texas. This contract position offers the chance to work on-site with options for full-time or part-time schedules. The duration is for the academic school year (NSY).

Key qualifications include:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working in school environments is a plus
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Skills across healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, clinical fellowship year (CFY), and utilizing Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in both school and healthcare settings

Primary responsibilities encompass:

• Conducting evaluations and diagnosing disorders related to speech, language, communication, and swallowing
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans to meet individual patient needs
• Collaborating closely with families, caregivers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and SLPAs
• Monitoring patient progress and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Ensuring compliance with professional standards and ethical practices

Location: Katy, Texas (on-site preferred)
