ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a passionate, driven occupational therapist to be the Director of Rehab and lead a team of therapists that deliver therapy to adults with a variety of medical conditions including orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary.
As a director of rehab, your responsibilities include:
- Clinical Vision: Bring a visionary approach to post-acute rehab, driving clinical excellence.
- Passion for Residents: Demonstrate a deep commitment to the well-being of post-acute rehab residents.
- Efficient Operations: Lead and optimize the Rehab Department for effective and streamlined operations.
- Patient Services: Oversee direct therapy services, ensuring high-quality care to residents.
- Data Management: Track and analyze data to enhance patient outcomes and department effectiveness.
- Admissions Monitoring: Manage and monitor resident admissions for optimal resource allocation.
- Treatment Schedules: Ensure efficient scheduling of treatments, maximizing resident benefit.
- Clinical Supervision: Provide expert clinical supervision to a dedicated therapy team.
- Case Management: Oversee comprehensive case management, ensuring holistic resident care.

QualificationsRecommended Minimum Position Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Successful completion of National Certification Examination for Registered Occupational Therapist.
Current state licensure.
Preferred Qualifications:
One to two years of experience in a leadership/management role.
